You're probably exhausted but follow these seven tips from Lorraine Thomas, chief executive of the Parent Academy, and you'll soon feel better.
1. Think yourself healthy. If you jump out of bed in the morning and say, 'I'm a healthy, happy mum with a healthy, happy baby,' it'll help.
2. Be positive about life. Smile more often than you frown, and say yes more often than no.
3. Look after yourself. A healthy mum looks after herself. Organise a babysitter and take yourself out.
4. Focus on healthy habits, not unhealthy ones. Feel good about yourself every time you drink a glass of water or eat a piece of fruit.
5. Set yourself one positive health target for today. Make it simple and easy, like taking the stairs instead of the lift, and really try to enjoy doing it.
6. Shop healthily. Stock up on a range of healthy foods and snacks.Try something different.
7. Enjoy your own personal trainer, your baby. Forget the gym, being a mum is the perfect way to boost your fun and fitness levels.
