Saving money on childcare
After my son Joseph was born, I discovered my company ran a childcare voucher scheme, which really helps us save money on childcare. Each month, for a portion of my salary, I get childcare vouchers at a reduced rate, which help pay for Joseph's nursery place. As they're exempt from tax and National Insurance contributions, I save £50 for every £150 I pay. Thanks to this saving, my wife has been able to go back to work.
