Easy bedtimes

Mandy Gurney, manager of a children's sleep clinic, on easy bedtimes
Average rating: 3 out of 5 star rating

Make sure she has a good winding-down routine, with a bath and story. After that, start off by the cot, but don't talk or look at her. If she keeps crying, leave the room and say 'lie down and mummy will stay.' Keep doing this till she falls asleep. Over the next few nights move further back until you're standing outside the room.
