Find a comfortable birthing position

The best birthing position for me was to be on all fours. Giving birth is not a pain you can take lying down – gravity exists for a reason! I didn't have an epidural, so it was natural all the way, and I was surprised the find that the pain wasn't as bad as I imagined it would be. The contractions get steadily worse and just when you think you can't take it any more you go and give birth – that's the easy part. I didn't notice any pain at that point.
