Dealing with a teen who takes drugs

What to do if you believe your child is using drugs
Average rating: 3 out of 5 star rating

If you think your child is using drugs, try to stay calm. Don't start talking about blame, just listen to what she has to say before working out a plan of action. Don't try to sort this out by yourself. Visit www.talktofrank.com or call the Talk to Frank drugs information helpline on 0800 776600 - they'll put you in touch with local and national services that can provide counselling and treatment. Also remember that the majority of young people who try drugs do not go on to become problem users, especially if you seek help early on.
