Birmingham's outdoor ice rink 2013

Birmingham's only outdoor rink can be found at Centenary Square in the city centre. The 600-square-meter ice rink is close by to the Frankfurt Christmas market and promises to be a fun and festive family day out.
When? 16th November 2013 - 5th January 2014 (closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Open from 10am - 10pm. See the website below for session times.

Nottingham's outdoor ice rink 2013

Nottingham's Market Square outdoor ice rink is making a return this year in 2013. You can also do a spot of Christmas shopping in the Winter Wonderland market surrounding the rink.
When? 21st November 2013 - 4th January 2014 (closed on Christmas Day and New Year). Open daily from 10am - 11pm.
How much? £8.50 for adults, £6.50 for under 12s and £25 for a family pass.

Nottingham's indoor ice rink 2013

The National Ice Centre will be putting up a giant Christmas tree this year so you can take the family skating during the festive season come snow or shine. You can also enjoy some seasonal food and drink in the ice rink's cafe.

Whether you're an experienced skater or a complete beginner, a visit to the Admiral Open Air Ice Rink (pictured) at Cardiff's Winter Wonderland is a must this winter. When you've finished skating you can wander around the German Christmas market and let the kids have a go on the traditional rides and the 60m tall Star Ride if they're brave enough.
