Glasgow's ice rink 2013Skate beneath the twinkling Christmas lights of George Square at Glasgow On Ice, Scotland's largest open-air ice rink. Penguin sessions are available for families with young children so that you can skate together away from faster and more advanced skaters.

Manchester's ice rink 2013Practice your ice skating skills at Selfridges Ice Rink at Manchester's famous Trafford Centre, transformed into a Winter Wonderland this Christmas.

Wetherby's ice rink 2013Wetherby's ice rink is set in front of the festive Woodland Cafe, where you can relax in the warmth and enjoy a hot meal or snack while you watch your kids have fun on the ice.
When? 23rd October 2013 - 6th January 2014 (closed Tuesdays in November, Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Open on Monday - Sunday from 10.30pm to 8.30pm. See the website (below) for different opening times during the low season.

Yorkshire's ice rink 2013The Ice Factor's real ice rink (pictured above) will be transformed into Yorkshire's Winter Wonderland, with a giant Christmas tree in the centre of the rink and a festive fun fair. This year the new festive PapaKitchen cafe and bar is open, so you can cosy up with a warming drink after you skate.
