Kate Garraway is expecting her second child at the age of 41, while Nicole Kidman had her first, a daughter Sunday Rose, at the same age in 2008.

They have become the latest in an ever-growing list of celebrities who are having babies in their late 30's and 40's.

More and more women are having babies later so they can have a career first. In 2007, 13% of all births were by women aged over 35 and this is double the amount compared with ten years ago. There were also over a thousand babies born to women over 45.

But there are just as many, if not more, stories about teenage pregnancies. So when is the best time to have a baby?
