In 96% of cases, the baby's head should now be engaged. Baby's quite squashed and you can see what he thinks of this!
On average your baby is now putting on half a pound a week and now weighs around 5lb (2.3kg). Lengthwise, the average baby is around 20 inches from head to toe - the width of your cooker.

If your baby is in the breech position, now's the time to talk to your midwife. There's still time for it to change position.
Make sure you eat plenty of oily fish, seeds and walnuts to boost your baby's DHA, a type of omega-3 fat that's important for your baby's development.
