Days out with the kids are a great idea and sometimes you just need a bit of inspiration for what to do or where to go.

Wonder no more. We've come up with a great activity planner that will give you some ideas of things to do with the family.

Just choose the area of the country you're in and then your preferred price range and we'll give you some suggestions.

So whether it's somewhere cheap to take your toddlers or a full-on activity day for your energetic teens, we've got it covered!

Step 1

Choose the area you live in or are visiting

- London
- South East
- South West
- Midlands
- Wales
- North West
- North East
- Scotland
- Ireland and Northern Ireland

And if you have any of your own suggestions for favourite places to visit, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: Although we've tried to make sure that all the information included is correct, we suggest you ring the attraction before setting off on your family day out - just to double check opening times and admission prices.
There's nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey!

Working with the RAC, we understand that more families are holidaying in the UK this year. To ensure your holiday starts off on the right foot, the RAC and expedia.co.uk have teamed up to launched My Way, suggesting alternative scenic routes across the UK to avoid the congested motorways. This aims to encourage families to enjoy their journeys more and let the adventure start as soon as they step out the front door! Some suggested routes can be found at www.rac.co.uk/myway.
