Favourite kids' books
Teaching your kids how to read is said to be, for many parents, one of the most rewarding things you can do. Studies have shown that the more children read, the better readers and writers they become.
It's never too late or early to start and one of the easiest ways of starting is to start off with something you loved as a kid.
So what's your favourite childhood book? In our poll on goodtoknow, the overwhelming winner with 31% of the vote was Enid Blyton's Famous Five, followed by The Magic Faraway Tree and then The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
