Kids' Parties: Party bags
No party is complete without a party bag - in fact, most kids expect one, so it's something you'll have to think about.
The internet is a great place to look for cheap, fun gifts to put in party bags and it's also one of the best ways to keep costs down, as party bags can work out quite expensive!
Some companies now offer pre-filled party bags for around £2-3 per bag. Alternatively, there are lots of places online that offer individual party bag fillers that cost upwards of 20p each.
Remember, kids are happy with most things in a bag and it's usually the cheapest gifts that end up being the most popular.
What to put in the party bag
- Stickers
- Pen, pencils, rulers and rubbers
- Anything that glows: especially popular with boys
- Things that make a noise: these can be comedy chattering teeth or a simple whistle
- Bubble mixture
Don't get too hung up on what you put inside, but 4 or 5 things is roughly average. Oh, and don't forget to put a piece of birthday cake in the bag as well!
