There's finally an easy way to know whether you're more likely to have a boy or a girl, researchers have discovered, and it's all to do with your man.
You might have tried our Chinese birth predictor, which has been known to be strangely accurate, but this new method of finding out the sex of your baby involves no tests or charts.
It's as simple as looking at the father of your child's family, and seeing whether he's got more sisters or brothers. A Newcastle study has found the tendency to have boys or girls is inherited from the male's parents, so if he has a lot of sisters, you're more likely to have a girl and if he's one of several boys, you're more likely to have a son.
This new research has studied family trees for hundreds of years and found a strong pattern between couples that have a lot of sons and their sons' likelihood to also conceive boys.
So, if you're desperate to know what you're likely to have, but it's too early to tell - this is a quick and easy way to make an educated guess!

this is not true as my partner has 4 brothers but has give me 2 girls i got one on the way but dont no the sex yet will let you know how that one turns out but i dont think this is true at all sorry

My mom got 4 girls and no boys and on the other hand his mom had 4boys...now I don't know what to think. I guess its 50 50 chance caz I want a girl for some reason. I hope I shock him with a girl!

Ive got two sisters and a brother but my boyfriends got two brothers so does that mean wed have boys? I want a girl but I feel im gona hav a girl

I dont really believe this as on my side of the family its always girls that were born first right all the way through to my great gran. My great gran had a girl first then my gran had my Aunty first and my mum had me before my brother and i had a litle girl. Even all my auntys and uncles all have had girls first whereas on my mans side it was all boys that were (mostly) born first. So maybe they have got it the wrong way about as girls rule !!!! xx

This is not true as my husband has got 4 sisters no brothers and we had a girl first time round then a boy so who know?!?! x
