goodtoknow's Food and Diets Editor Anna is pregnant, so we've asked her to keep a diary of her pregnancy, telling you all the good bits and bad bits and asking for your help and comments.

Join her 9-month journey, follow her highs and lows and share your own tips, stories and advice...

I still can't believe I'm pregnant. It just won't sink in. The only sign that I am is the three pregnancy tests I did before Christmas. There's no bump, no morning sickness, no sign at all.

I have another test in my bathroom, so two weeks after my first positives, I go mad and decide to take it. Of course it's positive, so I feel a bit silly, but it puts a grin on my face for the rest of the day.

As I've been an outpatient at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital's assisted conception unit, I give them a call to let them know the news.

My call is the second pregnancy announcement of the day so they're really pleased and automatically book me in for an early scan at 7 weeks to make sure everything's OK because I have a higher risk of having multiples. I'm totally focused on that date.

I'm terrified of losing this baby. I'm so happy about being pregnant and the idea of going through another rollercoaster 22 months of hope then disappointment in the mission to get pregnant just fills me with despair.

I read a lot of stuff on miscarriage and tried to convince myself that even though it's very common and many women lose their babies in the first 12 weeks, an even higher percentage don't.

I can't imagine being lucky enough to get to 12 weeks with everything being OK, so I'm reading up on everything that can increase the risk. I try not to have my baths too hot and don't turn my electric blanket on any more. My favourite Diet Cokes are in the bin and alcohol is a distant memory.

I just have to get to the magic goal of 12 weeks. I also have to confess that I go to the toilet about 20 times a day - not because I need to go, but because I have to keep checking I'm not bleeding.

The I'm on antibiotics so I can't drink' excuse was wearing a bit thin, so I've had to tell a few people at work the news. They're so excited for me and it makes me laugh to see their foolish grins when I come into work knowing they share my secret!
