You are now 7 weeks pregnant or in your 8th week if that's how you're counting it
How is my baby growing?
Your baby is growing quickly and is now about 1.3cm long, weighing around 1.5g.
The embryo is starting to look much more like a baby, with recognisable fingers, toes, eyelids and the beginning of a nose.
How are you feeling?
Most women experience some nausea and sickness at this stage, and if you are suffering you may find it hard to keep anything down. Try to eat little and often, drink lots of water to stay hydrated, and get as much rest as possible.
Although you don't yet look pregnant, you may feel bloated and some of your clothes might feel tight.
Top tips
Many women need to go shopping for a new bra around this time. Avoid underwired styles, as these can be uncomfortable and put pressure on developing milk ducts. Instead look for a maternity style as these have wider straps and several rows of adjustable back fastenings.
Ask to be measured and fitted and bear in mind that your bra size will continue to change throughout your pregnancy, so don't buy more than 1 or 2.
