You are now 9 weeks pregnant or in your 10th week if that's how you're counting it
How is my baby growing?
At 9 weeks your baby is about 3cm long.
Ankles and knees have now developed and the genitals have begun to form - although it is still too early to determine the sex.
All the major organs are in place, the eyes and inner ears are developed and your baby has started to grow light, downy hair.
How are you feeling?
By now you may be wondering if you will ever look like a 'blooming' mum-to-be because many women find they start getting spots and their hair becomes lank and greasy. This is caused by pregnancy hormones, and should ease as your pregnancy progresses.
Top tips
Your booking appointment, which is your first official pregnancy check up with a midwife, will take place when you are 9 or 10 weeks pregnant.
The midwife will want to run some routine blood and urine tests, check your weight and blood pressure and give you information on scans and antenatal screening.
