You are now 11 weeks pregnant or in your 12th week if that's how you're counting it
How is my baby growing?
Your baby is now about 5.5cm long and weighs about 10g.
At this stage your baby is fully formed and even has fingernails and toenails. You still can't feel it, but your baby is busy kicking and stretching.
How are you feeling?
Many women start to notice some weight gain by now, and may be upset by the changes in their body.
Your breasts probably look bigger and feel heavier, veins may be visible and your nipples will become larger and darker.
Top tips
Between 11 and 14 weeks, an ultrasound scan called a nuchal translucency (NT) scan can detect the likelihood of your baby being born with Down's Syndrome.
Combined with a blood test, this has a high detection rate, but may not be available at your local hospital, so you might have to pay to have it privately.
