You are now 22 weeks pregnant or in your 23rd week if that's how you're counting it
How is my baby growing?
Your baby weighs 14oz, measures 30cm and can hear.
Try talking to your bump and see if you get a kick in response. It has distinct lips, eyes, eyebrows and eyelids but the iris still lacks colour.
Your baby has fat to keep it warm and the brain is growing rapidly.
How are you feeling?
You've gained around 12-15 lbs and have probably noticed an increase in vaginal discharge, which is milky coloured. This, together with increased blood flow to your clitoris, may make you feel more in the mood for sex, but not always!
Vaginal infections and sex can cause a small amount of bleeding, but blood can also be a sign of something more serious in pregnancy, so always tell your GP or midwife if this happens.
