You are now 24 weeks pregnant or in your 25th week if that's how you're counting it
How is my baby growing?
Your baby's 33cm and weighs 1lb.
If they're born this week the birth would be considered 'viable' which means they'd have a 44% chance of survival.
How are you feeling?
Your midwife will begin measuring the size of your bump to check that your baby is growing properly.
The measurement in centimetres (from the pubic bone to the top of your bump) should be roughly the same as the number of weeks you are pregnant, but this isn't an exact science so don't worry if it's a few centimetres out. If your midwife is concerned, she'll refer you for another ultrasound scan.
Top tips
Pregnancy plays havoc with your teeth and gums - you may be noticing bleeding when you brush - so go to the dentist and make the most of your free treatment (it lasts until your baby is 12 months old).
