You are now 34 weeks pregnant or in your 35th week if that's how you're counting it
How is your baby growing?
Your baby measures about 43cm and weighs nearly 4lbs 8oz.
They are developing an immune system. Around 3-4% of babies will be in the breech position where their bottoms or legs lie towards the birth canal instead of being head down.
Your doctor may recommend trying an 'external version' where they encourage your baby to turn through manual manipulation, or a Caesarean section may be suggested. You may want to deliver your baby in the breech position, although there are some risks attached.
How are you feeling?
Wee and blood pressure checks will happen at every antenatal visit.
You may experience swelling in your fingers and ankles and your placenta reaches maturity now.
Top tips
You need to remember to drink plenty of fluids, preferably water.
Your unborn baby drinks the amniotic fluid in your womb and then wees it out again. It's replaced every three hours so that's why it's very important to keep your fluids up.
