Pick up your needles and get stitching this lovely nostalgic pearl-button cardigan with this gorgeous knitting pattern

This beaded, round-neck cardigan has shaped sides and set-in sleeves. It's knitted in an all-over lace pattern with single-rib edgings. The yarn is kid mohair and silk mix, and is hand-wash only.

To fit sizes 81-86 (91-97) (102-107) cm/32-34 (36-38) (40-42) in.
Actual measurements 94 (106) (120.5) cm/37 (41¾) (47½) in.
Side seam 26 (27) (29)cm/10¼ (10½) (11½) in.
Length to shoulder 46 (49)(51.5) cm/18 (19¼) (20¼) in.
Sleeve seam 9.5 (11) (13.5)cm/3¾ (4¼) (5) in.

Materials
8 (8) (9) 25g balls of Rowan Kid Silk Aura. 3¼mm (No. 10) and 4mm (No. 8) knitting needles; approx. 200 (230) (270) pearl beads; 5 buttons. Yarn costs about £6.25 per 25g ball. We used Powder (753). Pack of pearl beads, Ain:-287949 (approx. 200 beads per pack) costs 86p, from HobbyCraft.

Tension
21 stitches and 28 rows, to 10 x 10cm, over pattern, using 4mm needles.

Abbreviations
K, knit; p, purl; st, stitch; sl, slip; tog, together; dec, decrease (by working 2 sts tog); inc, increase (by working twice into same st); yf, yarn forward to make a st; skpo, sl1, k1, pass sl st over; sl2k, sl2kwise as if about to k2tog, k1, then pass 2 sl sts over; B1, bead 1 (bring yarn to front, sl 1 st, push bead close to work so that it lays over the sl st on right side of work, take yarn to back).
