Is 2013's John Lewis ad the best yet?

(4 ratings)
John Lewis Christmas advert 2013

NOW it feels like Christmas! Remember the lovely snowman ad from John Lewis last year? Well we think the department store has gone one better this year with their adorable tale of the bear and the hare.

The animated tale features woodland animals getting ready for Christmas, and of course wouldn't be complete without a heart-warming storyline of Christmas cheer between 2 of the characters, the bear and the hare.

With Lily Allen singing the backing track of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know', it's almost impossible not to shed a tear at the cute creatures! Christmas no.1 anyone?

The advert is due to be aired for the first time during the first break in tomorrow night's X Factor live show. Can't wait until then? Watch the advert below (and tell us if you managed to watch it without a sniffle!)

Even celebrities haven't been able to contain their excitement for the new ad, with plenty of them taking to Twitter to talk about the cute duo the bear and the hare:

still rating a 5 out of 5 stars as its a lovely video and full of Christmas spirit.

John Lewis know how to get the Christmas feeling out there but I would have preferred an unknown star to have sung it, no disrespect to Lily but its the fragility that makes it so endearing like the snowman one last year.

We love it too Joely, so so cute!

Bare the Hare is definetly the best by far, thought it was so sweet and brought a tear to my eye ;`) well done John Lewis for doing it again this Christmas! XOXOX
