Man brands two women 'bloody disgusting' for shopping at Tesco in their pyjamas
'Who doesn't have the time to get changed into clothes to go shopping?'
A Tesco shopper has sparked debate after criticising two women who went to his local store wearing pyjamas.
The man took to the brand's Facebook page to brand the ladies 'bloody disgusting' for wearing their nightwear in the aisles.
'Dear Tesco, please can you put a rule in place that people like this will not be served in your stores. It's bloody disgusting. This was at 7pm last night at Tesco Salford store and I have seen other people dressed similar on a regular basis,' he wrote.
'I mean who doesn't have the time to get changed and go shopping.'
Tesco were quick to respond to the post, saying: 'Many of our customers have told us that they feel uncomfortable when they see other shoppers wearing unsuitable clothing in our stores and we do try to find a balance that everyone is happy with.'
'Although we don't have a formal dress code in our stores, we rely on our Management Team to use their discretion and common sense.'
Although the original message appears to have been deleted, it was screenshotted by Joel Brackenbury, who penned his own rebuttal to the complaint.

'I for one find it uncomfortable to have to shop alongside people who spend their time taking photographs of strangers minding their own business rather than just ignoring things that do not affect them in any way, and have seen other people making complaints on a similar basis.'
'I mean who doesn't have the time to just ignore these women and carry on shopping.'
The discussion has had mixed responses from other commenters, with some arguing that whilst wearing pyjamas outside doesn't affect other shoppers personally, they don't agree with the look.
'It is scruffy though,' one said. 'How hard is it to get dressed. But you have a point. It makes the people that do it look bad, but it doesnt affect a persons shopping experience.'
'Think people should concentrate on their own day to day life rather than those around...' another disagreed. 'They are clothed and minding their own business I also do Tesco run in lazy day clothes.. each to their own!! Get a life.'
