'You should be named and shamed' Katie Price launches petition to make trolling a criminal offence
The mum-of-five's campaign has already had lots of support.
Katie Price has launched a campaign to make online bullying a criminal offence with a collated list of offenders, after suffering severe trolling of her disabled son, Harvey.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to share the petition she has created, urging fans and followers to join her in signing it to make online bullying a criminal offence.
Katie posted a picture of part of her petition, featuring the mission statement which reads:
'Make online abuse a specific criminal offence and create a register of offenders'
'Trolling is a major problem in this day and age. People of all ages and background suffer every day, including my family - especially my son Harvey. I have tried my best to expose people and even had two arrested but nothing was done and there were no repercussions or penalties for this behaviour.'
She accompanied her post with a galvanising caption, pleading with her 1.4 million followers to get involved and sign the petition, which needs 100,000 signatures for government to respond and currently has nearly 38,000.
Katie wrote, 'Please please sign this petition to make a difference and get TROLLS and People who BULLY punished... Link to sign is in my bio'

The Loose Women star continued to re-post several offensive tweets and pictures to name and shame the trolls who have been targeting her son Harvey - who suffers from severe autism, septo-optic dysplasia and Prader-Willi syndrome.
Next to each shocking repost Katie wrote a caption shaming the offender and once again asking people to sign her petition.
Next to one of four upsetting examples of online trolling the model wrote, 'YOU SHOULD BE NAMED AND SHAMED. Horrible tweets and online bullying makes us more determined to fight for this! Link in my bio please sign the petition'
