Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie Livingston welcome baby boy

The actor has become a dad again aged 64.

Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie Livingston have confirmed that they have become parents once again after welcoming a baby boy named River.

Rhythmic gymnast Emilie announced the wonderful news on her private Instagram account, posting a picture of her newborn lying in a hospital cot with their family gathered around.

In a picture the mum-of-two could be seen smiling sweetly into the cot whilst holding the couple's 21-month-old son Charlie close as he reaches down to stroke his new sibling.

Jeff is shown to be leaning over and doting on his new son, holding one of River's tiny hands.

Along side the adorable picture, Emilie wrote a caption revealing the name of her son, as well as the date and time of his birth.

She wrote, 'I can’t believe it’s been a week already! River Joe Goldblum was born 4/7/17 at 8:53am.'

Referring to her growing family, the 34-year-old gushed about how well big brother Charlie was taking to his new role as well as what a wonderful father Jeff makes.

'Charlie Ocean is such a sweet and caring older brother. We couldn’t be happier!!!

'Jeff is our rock and continues to be an exceptionally loving and passionate father! Love my boys!!!'

The loved-up pair announced they were expecting their second child back in January, taking to social media site Instagram to share their good news.

At the time Emilie posted an artistic shot of herself posing on top of a barrel with a lovely caption that expressed how excited she was to become a mum for the second time.

She wrote, 'Round and round we go! I'm 15 weeks pregnant in this shot and I'm SO excited for our newest addition to the Goldblum family, arriving early April!!! #growingfamily #love'

Jeff and Emilie have been married for two and a half years, after tying the knot in November 2014.

The pair dated for three years before that, which Jeff has opened up about in the past admitting he felt like a 'teenager' when he first met his wife.

He said, 'I was immediately thrilled by her and walked over. The next couple of days I pursued her.'

'I talked to my friends about her. I was like a teenager. She makes me and Charlie laugh.'
