Gino D'Acampo has spoken out about children's fussy eating habits, claiming that 'stupid parents' are to blame.
Gino aired his views on the matter whilst speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning.
Appearing on the ITV show, the dad remarked that in his opinion, 'fussy eating is stupid parents'.
After being questioned by a shocked Phil who said, 'Sorry, can we just clarify you're blaming stupid parents for fussy eating?', the celebrity chef continued to complain that parents seem incapable of telling their children an answer they know won't go down well.
He said, 'Parents don't want to fight any more, parents don't want to say "No" any more.
'The easiest thing for them to say is: "You don't want that? Don't worry about it, I'm going to get you something else".'
Gino remarked that by trying to keep your children happy with the perfect menu, your house can feel like a restaurant, making more work for mum and dad.
'Your house, all of a sudden, is becoming a restaurant.'
The father-of-three continued to shed some light on what meal times in his house look like, and compared them to his own upbringing.

Gino explained that when he was growing up he didn't question the food his mum put in front of him, 'That's one thing that I just can't get my head around. When I was a child, my mum used to prepare dinner, and that was it, that was what you ate.'
Offering some parental advice of his own, the 40-year-old uses the 'go hungry' tactic on his own little ones.
'In my house, if the children say no to what I've made, they go to bed without dinner. If they don't have one meal they're not going to die.'
And although the Italian star had some sympathy for parents at home with their kids all day, he still encouraged them to 'be more strict'.
'I can understand if you spend all day with the children, and they're yapping, the last thing you want is an argument at the dinner table.'
Gino has a daughter and two sons with wife Jessica - Mia, Luciano and Rocco.
