Billie Faiers comes under fire for taking her baby son Arthur to a salon

'The salon fumes aren't great for a baby'

Billie Faiers, star of ITVBe's The Mummy Diaries and The Only Way is Essex, has come under fire from fans for a recent Instagram post, which shows her posing in a salon chair with baby son Arthur on her knee.

Known for her glamorous look and flawless style, the mum-of-two appeared to have gone for a spot of pampering – but some commenters hit out at her decision, suggesting that a salon was not an appropriate place for such a young child to be.

In the photo, Billie is sat in swanky London salon Inanch London, taking a snap in the mirror, with little Arthur asleep on her knee. She's captioned the cute pic: 'At the salon with mumma', followed by some emojis.

And though most visitors to the post were enamoured with her baby and her excellent taste in handbags (also pictured in the shot is a classic deep green Chanel number), there were a few commenters who were concerned for three-month-old Arthur's wellbeing.

'The salon fumes aren't great for a baby,' wrote one commenter, whilst another agreed: 'Taking a newborn to a salon to breathe in all the fumes. Wow.'

However, for the most part, the comments on the image were positive, with Billie (and Arthur's!) fans out in droves to express support for their recent TV appearances.

'Loving you and your family on mummy diaries...' wrote one happy commenter. 'So funny and down to earth. The last episode cracked me up xxxx'.

'Just catching up on the last mummy diaries,' said another. 'Beautiful moments when baby Arthur was born. Well done @billiefairesofficial.'

A third added: 'You and Greg should your own reality show @billiefaiersofficial sooo funny watching you both.'

And one said simply: 'Omg your little cub is making me so broody again!! X'
