A mum-of-three has been praised for her inspirational message about how she explained the changes to her post-baby body to her son, after giving birth to twins earlier this month.

The proud mum, who welcomed two baby girls on 2nd November, is also mum to a toddler named Archer. She keeps her thousands of followers up to date with her adventures in motherhood on her Instagram account, which she describes as 'hunting for epic joy through my lens while raising twin girls and a rad toddler dude!'

So, when Hayley's young son Archer asked what was 'wrong' with her belly just one week after she delivered her twin girls, the new mum-of-three didn't hesitate to share her story with the world via social media.

Hey, hello, hi everyone!! Thanks for the sweet messages and well wishes !! We finally did it! My babies are safe and in my arms! . . Meet our brunette Ramona Bronx, born at 8:03 am, weighing in at 5lb 10oz and 17.5” long! Onto our little blond lady on the right - Ruby Lee, born at 8:05 am weighing in at 5lb 5oz measuring 17.5 inches !! . . . This birth was seamless compared to my emergency c section with Archer and I can’t thank the amazing hospital staff enough! I’ll write a bit about my experience later, I think I’m going to go cuddle and sleep for the remainder of my day ! Love you all! . . . . . . . #ministylekids #twiniversity #twinsandmultiples #doubleisthenewbubble #twinpregnancy #37weeksgestation #twinmama #twinmom #ig_motherhood #inspirepregnancy #newborn #fresh48 #cm_togetherness #familygoalz #cutekidsclub #ig_kids #candidslumber #jj_forum_2069 #cooltones_nio

Posting a poignant image of her two beautiful babies cradled on either side of her stomach, Hayley wrote: 'Happy one week birthday, ladies! This morning Archer asked me what's wrong with my belly and I told him that all of my babies leave marks on my belly so that I never forget for a second that I grew them in my body all on my own and that they exist earthside with me now!'

She finished the post by saying: 'A forever reminder, whether I'm truly confident having these marks or not, it's no doubt a testament to the miracles my body has made.'

Following Hayley's inspirational post, her fans and followers were quick to flood her with comments praising her honesty and sharing their own experiences.

It was really hard to choose which photo I wanted to post first of Archer with his “baby stisters” . I was disappointed that I used such a wide aperture for this one, as Archer isn’t in focus , but I really love how both Ruby and Ramona are reaching for their big bro. It’s like they are already the perfect team! Adding to our family has been hard for so many reasons, one of them being the loss of that one on one time with my son. I put archer to bed after his sisters the other night and he told me he wanted to skip songs and I could just feel my heart breaking . The tears started pouring without even really thinking about it. I want my first born to still need me but I know that in order to really step into his role as big brother , he may need a bit more independence. It’s such a hard balance. What’s your experience with adding more kiddos to your family after being a family of three for so long ?? . . #twiniversity #twinsandmultiples #doubleisthenewbubble #igw_portraits #kidsmood #portraitmood #childportraits #rsa_portraits #jj_portraiture #jj_allportraits #portrait_vision #main_vision #dearest_viewfinder #portraitstream #thesincerestoryteller #portraitpage #cpcfeature #girlscreating #kdpeoplegallery #tsj_family

'The caption made me cry. So beautiful. And such a good reminder' commented one person, while another added: 'Thank you for sharing! Haven't seen any other pictures that make me feel like my post partum body is normal, so really relieved to see one I can relate to!'

'My twins are 5 years old now, our 3rd and 4th boys. They absolutely love my belly - they call it a rotten apple, oatmeal, the ocean,' wrote another of Hayley's followers. 'I am so self conscious about my twin skin but their love of it is always a good reminder to not be so hard on myself.'

I've not had twins but I have had 5 children & my youngest always used to ask, can I rest my head on your jelly belly, which always made me laugh & my belly wobble even more
