Mum praised for inspirational message about her postpartum body a week after giving birth to twins
'A testament to the miracles my body has made'
A mum-of-three has been praised for her inspirational message about how she explained the changes to her post-baby body to her son, after giving birth to twins earlier this month.
The proud mum, who welcomed two baby girls on 2nd November, is also mum to a toddler named Archer. She keeps her thousands of followers up to date with her adventures in motherhood on her Instagram account, which she describes as 'hunting for epic joy through my lens while raising twin girls and a rad toddler dude!'
So, when Hayley's young son Archer asked what was 'wrong' with her belly just one week after she delivered her twin girls, the new mum-of-three didn't hesitate to share her story with the world via social media.
Posting a poignant image of her two beautiful babies cradled on either side of her stomach, Hayley wrote: 'Happy one week birthday, ladies! This morning Archer asked me what's wrong with my belly and I told him that all of my babies leave marks on my belly so that I never forget for a second that I grew them in my body all on my own and that they exist earthside with me now!'
She finished the post by saying: 'A forever reminder, whether I'm truly confident having these marks or not, it's no doubt a testament to the miracles my body has made.'
Following Hayley's inspirational post, her fans and followers were quick to flood her with comments praising her honesty and sharing their own experiences.
'The caption made me cry. So beautiful. And such a good reminder' commented one person, while another added: 'Thank you for sharing! Haven't seen any other pictures that make me feel like my post partum body is normal, so really relieved to see one I can relate to!'

'My twins are 5 years old now, our 3rd and 4th boys. They absolutely love my belly - they call it a rotten apple, oatmeal, the ocean,' wrote another of Hayley's followers. 'I am so self conscious about my twin skin but their love of it is always a good reminder to not be so hard on myself.'
