Same Difference's Sarah Smith is expecting a baby boy

Her bandmate and brother Sean revealed the exciting news

Same Difference singer Sarah Smith is due to give birth to a baby boy in March 2018.

The exciting news was revealed when the pregnant star's brother, Sean was taking part in a podcast interview with The Scott McGlynn Show.

Talking on the show, Sean Smith said: 'Yes, a baby boy is on the way. I'm gutted he's due in March and I'm not back until May as I'm on tour with We Will Rock You, but I'm very excited to become an uncle.'

The sibling duo and X Factor runners up preformed under the name Same Difference, but their musical journey came to an end after duo finished third behind Leon Jackson and Opera nut Rhydian Roberts.

Since then, while Sean has pursued his solo career, 29-year-old Sarah has shunned limelight and instead turned her attention to helping the next generation of music artists.

Sean said: 'Sarah's running a Same Difference school for kids to sing, dance, act and fitness classes. She meets some young stars and it's amazing seeing them.'

Her business has been a resounding success and Sarah previously told The Sun how much she's enjoying her work.

She said at the time: 'It's going amazingly well. I was expecting for the first year to struggle but it's been a brilliant start.

'I have found some ridiculously talented kids and the people of Portsmouth have really embraced the studios and all of the classes we put on.'

Sean added: 'The Same Difference studios are very lucrative and Sarah is doing extremely well running them.

'I'm so proud of her and it's certainly her calling, her way of giving back.'

Wholesome siblings Sean and Sarah performed under the moniker Same Difference and first graced our screens on the X Factor 2007, coming third in the popular prime-time show.

But a year later they were dropped by Simon Cowell's record label after poor sales were blamed on the closure of Woolworths and on Christmas Eve 2014, the duo announced their split.
