The Big Bang Theory star Melissa Rauch welcomes a baby girl
You'll love the name she's chosen!
Melissa Rauch, one of the stars of hit US comedy The Big Bang Theory, has revealed the happy news that she's welcomed a baby girl.
Melissa confirmed the arrival of her daughter with husband Winston with an adorable snap posted to her Instagram account, where she also revealed the baby name that the couple had chosen for their bundle of joy.
'I am beyond over the moon to share that our beautiful baby girl, Sadie Rauch, has arrived and our hearts are bursting at the seams with love for her,' she wrote to her 1.5 million followers.
'I will never take for granted the difficult road it took to get here. To those on that road: I'm sending you so much love today and always. 💕💕💕💕💕💕'.
Fans have rushed to congratulate the star, who plays Bernadette in the popular TV show, with one commenting: 'Congrats 💕💕💕💕💕💕 Our baby girl arrived two weeks ago and it's a beautiful time to get to know each other!!!'
'God bless you, your husband and Sadie!' another exclaimed. 'Can't wait to see her. I'm sure you love her with all of your heart and soul! Congrats on your little sweetie!!! She must be beautiful...like you!'
Little Sadie's arrival is particularly poignant for Melissa and Winston, as earlier this year, she shared her pregnancy announcement whilst also opening up about her experience of going through a miscarriage.

'Melissa is expecting her first child. She is extremely overjoyed, but if she's being honest, due to the fact that she had a miscarriage the last time she was pregnant, she's pretty much terrified at the moment that it will happen again,' she wrote in a frank article for Glamour magazine at the time.
'To all the women out there who are dealing with fertility issues, have gone through a miscarriage or are going through the pain of it currently, allow me to leave you with this message: You are not alone. And, it is perfectly OK to not be OK right now.'
