Pink's parenting style has been applauded for its no-nonsense, non-conforming approach.

The star, who regularly posts photos of her breastfeeding son Jameson in public and about how she is raising her six-year-old daughter Willow in a non-gender conforming household, the singer holds progressive family values to heart.

And although her daughter is in some of her first days of school, Pink has already started to answer her questions about the tumultuous world of dating.

Speaking to Cosmpolitan about her daughter's queries, Pink revealed that Willow is starting to ask about romance.

When Willow asked her mum how many boys she was allowed to date at once, however, her mum had one all-important answer.

'I said: "Excuse me? Probably none of them because they won't deserve you,' Pink stated to the magazine, as reported by BuzzFeed.

'They have to be kind, respectful. They have to be chivalrous. They have to be good to their moms. They have to be good looking, and they have to be funny.'

Fielding statements from kids is all part of the day job for Pink with daughter Willow.

'Last week, Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like, "Great!",' said the singer.

Pink recently spoke about how when she was younger, parents of her friends were reluctant to have her over.

'Other people's parents wouldn't let me come over when I was a kid. No one wanted their kid anywhere near me. I was the runaway, I was the one that had the mouth, I was always in trouble. And now, moms are like: "I love that my daughter loves you."'

'How the world turns.'

Speaking about when she first welcomed Willow into the world, the singer said it can be a struggle to 'grasp how beautiful' motherhood is.

'You hear people say it all the time, how life changes so drastically. But you can't possibly grasp how beautiful that is until you have your child,' she explained.
