Jana Karmer, who found fame in the popular TV show One Tree Hill, has opened up in a searingly honest post on social media about her miscarriage.
The 34-year-old American actress took to her Instagram account to share her heartbreaking news, along with a photo of her holding a picture from her hospital scan.
Sharing her loss and emotions about her current situation, the actress revealed she 'debated' with herself about whether to post the honest statement or not, but decided she should because she didn't was miscarriage to be a 'silent struggle' for mums any longer.
'I don't want I'm sorry or sympathy. I just don't want to feel alone. And I know I'm not,' Jana wrote.

unfortunately isn't my first loss. When I first found out I was pregnant I wanted to shout it from the rooftop but I know for reasons like this we have to wait. So because we don't tell many, we have to suffer silently...and suffering silently was my thing in the past, but it's not now.'
She continued: 'For the women out there who have miscarried in the past and need support and a place to grieve their little one lost or to those in the thick of it like me who are currently grieving and in pain, let us all be there for each other.'
The grieving mother said she didn't want anyone to 'feel alone' and encouraged other women going through the same struggle, or who have experienced it in the past to share their stories.
She also asked men to share their emotions and experiences too adding, 'guys too. We sometimes silence your voice because you feel bad to express how it's made u feel so let this be a safe place for you too.'
She finished the heartfelt and emotional post saying: 'I love you guys. #yourenotalone'.
Fans and followers rushed to share their condolences with Jana after she published the photo, and many women were also move to share their stories with the actress in her Instagram comments.
'I too have had a miscarriage and it was the hardest thing. I am praying for you,' wrote one, followed by another who said: 'I am so sorry for your losses. It’s such a devastating, helpless feeling. I have lost two also. Praying and talking with others who have gone through it will help.'
Jana Kramer has one daughter with her ex husband Mike Caussin. Jana welcomed her first child Jolie Rae in 2016.
