America Ferrera has revealed she's expecting her first child with husband Ryan Piers Williams.
The actress, who played Betty Suarez in the hit American TV show Ugly Betty, took to Instagram to reveal her happy baby news as she welcomed in the new year.
Posting a picture of her and her husband Ryan wearing festive 2018 glasses, America is also seen holding up an adorable baby onesie with the words 'Más besos (por favor)', which means 'More kisses (please)' in Spanish. She wrote in the caption: 'We're welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018! Wishing you #MásBesos in the New Year! #babybesos #HappyNewYear 😘'
The 33-year-old didn't reveal any more details about her pregnancy, so it's unknown when the star is due or if they're having a baby girl or a baby boy.
Fans of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star were quick to congratulate the couple of their lovely announcement, taking to the comments section to write their well wishes.
One fan wrote: 'This makes me so happy!!!! You guys are going to be AMAZING parents!! 🤗 Happy New Year Lady!'
Another said: 'Oh my goodness!! Congrats to you both!! Happy New Year indeed!!'
A third commented: 'Congratulations @americaferrera! You are going to be an amazing mother!!! So happy for you'.
The mum-to-be met her husband while the two attended the University of Southern California, and America was an actress in Ryan's student film. They got engaged in 2010 and tied the knot a year later, in 2011.
The pair celebrated 12 years together over the summer, and marked the special occasion with a trip to Iceland.
This will be the couple's first child but it sounds like they're ready for their next big step.
Speaking to Redbook magazine about taking up new challenges, America said last year: 'All the things I'm moving toward have one thing in common. They scare me. I've begun to recognise that if it scares me in a good way — if there's a part that's fun and exciting and a little frightening — that's the direction to go in.'
