Fans think they've guessed the gender of Coleen Rooney's baby

Coleen is currently expecting her fourth child

Fans are speculating about the gender of Coleen Rooney's baby after a picture she posted to her Twitter account led many to believe that she's having a girl.

Coleen, 31, is already mum to three sons, Kai, Klay and Kit, with husband Wayne, and announced back in August that she was expecting baby number four.

As with her previous pregnancies, she's confirmed that she plans to have her placenta turned into pills after the birth - and after sharing a picture of a pink box from the company Placenta Plus on social media, some followers are convinced she's given a nod to the gender of the child.

'I think she's having a girl,' one fan declared, followed by another who simply wrote: 'Pink 👶🏼💕🍼'.

'Your box is pink does this mean your having a Girl!? @ColeenRoo,' a third quizzed the star.

Coleen then shared a picture of the inside of the box, where a range of pink and blue items were included, so it would seem that she's giving nothing away just yet. However, the theory that the pink exterior could be significant isn't totally unfounded.

Placenta Plus is popular with many celeb mums, including Danielle Lloyd and Rochelle Humes, who both used the service after the birth of their children.

Danielle, who gave birth to her fourth son Ronnie in September, revealed in an Instagram post that she'd received a blue box for her products, whilst Rochelle, who welcomed daughter Valentina in March, shared a snap of her box, which was pink.

In the past, Coleen has spoken about the possibility of adding a girl to her brood, admitting to new! magazine: 'I can imagine having a girl. I've got a massive family so I'm around girls as well as having boys myself.'

'I'm not desperate, but a girl would be nice as part of the family'.

Coleen and Wayne have not yet confirmed whether they'll be finding out the gender of their new addition, so it could, of course, be that the box is a total coincidence.

We guess we'll have to wait until February 2018, which The Sun estimates is her approximate due date, to find out!
