What’s the story? These adorable panda twins were having a serious kick back as they were seen relaxing at Hangzhou Zoo in China. The pair look as though they’ve had the toughest of days – although in reality the most they did was get up for a little tumble and play! The twins are called Chengda and Chengxiao and we think they’re adorable!
Cute factor: 9 – they’re making us feel tired just looking at them!

What’s the story? Look at these adorable little tiger cubs – only funny thing about them is their mummy seems to be a dog! Well, the lovely Xiao Meng is acting as these little tiger cubs’ mum after they were rejected by their real mother, due to her lack of experience. How sweet! Xiao has got a busy time of it as she’s also nursing her own little puppy at the same time.

What’s the story? Would you LOOK at this little cutie! This gorgeous little panda cub was born on July 6 and is the first baby of a pair of giant pandas (he doesn’t look very giant now, if you ask us!). Him and his sibling are called “Tuan Tuan” and “Yuan Yuan” – cute! They were given as a goodwill gift to Taiwan by the Chinese mainland. We want one!!
Cute factor: 10 – we fear if we look at this picture for too long our hearts might explode from cuteness!
What’s the story? This little cygnet has a brave mum! The mum swan was unfortunately shot with an airgun by thugs, but she refused to leave her nest until her little babies were born! And, who knew cygnets were so adorable?! Luckily both the mum and dad swan are hopefully going to make full recoveries.
All swans in the UK are property of the Queen and hurting one, or stealing their eggs can land you with a £5000 fine or 6 months in prison.

What’s the story? How adorable are these baby reindeer twins?! They were born at Ouwehands Zoo in the Netherlands – and, there was a big celebration as they are the first reindeer babies to be born there since the zoo opened in 1932!

What’s the story? A giraffe and a zebra might not seem like a friendship made in heaven – but, these two have become good friends! According to their keeper at the zoo in China, the giraffe often rubs his head onto the zebra’s back, neck and head and they’ve been friends for about a month now!

What’s the story? Well that is one serious amount of babies to look after! This golden retriever gave birth a 15 puppies – cor, we feel tired just thinking about running round after all these little ones. But, seriously, how cute are they?! We can’t stop looking at the pictures!

What’s the story? How sweet are these little turtles?! These three little fellas are Chinese Three-striped Box Turtles and are, unforunately, critically endangered. However, keepers at Melboure zoo in Australia have managed to breed three babies – well, we think they are absolute cuties!

What’s the story? This mallard has surely broken all sorts of records – just look at all her little ducklings! After laying eggs in the freezing cold month of March, the mummy duck managed to see all her 24 (yes 24!) ducklings hatch. What a gorgeous little brood – although, we can’t say we envy her having to keep an eye on all these little ducklings.
Cute factor: 24 fluffy little ducklings, they’re nothing short of adorable!
What’s the story? Jackie, a three month old pup, got well and truly told off by his mum after misbehaving! Jackie lives with mum, Morha, and 10-year-old granny, Mowa – it’s a real family affair. After Jackie had been pestering his granny, his mum decided to give him what for, up against the wall!
Cute factor: We think Jackie is a little cutie!
What’s the story? These gorgeous white lions look like they are ready for a little afternoon nap! Now four months old, the big white cats have had to be taken away from their mum when they were born and their keepers have been handrearing them. Well, we think they’ve done a good job, and have even managed to keep their white coats looking clean!
Cute factor: Fluffy and cute (for now!), we think they’re lovely!
What’s the story? This adorable orangutan is 100 days old and doesn’t have a name yet! A zoo in southwest China has launched a competition to find her a name that suits – her parents are called Bo Yi and Kou Lai La. What would you call her? Write your suggestions in the comment box below…

What’s the story? These two might not look like they’d be in the same friendship group, but they’ve become bessies! The monkey is 16 days old and the baby lion is 32 days old and, much as you might not expect it, they’re inseparable. All together now – ‘aww’!

What’s the story? How sweet is this?! A tiny pocket-sized pig and a sweet, fluffy duckling – it’s like a scene out of the film Babe. Posing for a 2013 calendar, these oh-so-cute animals looked pretty comfortable in front of the camera – what a perfect scene for Easter!

What’s the story? A pair of adorable baby koala bears have been revealed at the Duisberg Zoo in Germany and this is one of them with his mother – aw! These 6 month old cute balls of fur have only just left the pouch – it was probably just too cosy to leave!

What’s the story? This cute little baby baboon is holding on tight to his mummy’s tail as she takes him for a ride around Kruger Park in South Africa. He looked really nervous and like he was wondering why all these people wanted to get his picture – cute!

What’s the story? These gorgeous inseperable bear cubs enjoyed a bit of rough and tumble as they played. Their mum was close by to make sure they didn’t get carried away at the Nature Reserve in Finland.

What’s the story? This little piggy went to market. This little piggy stayed at home and this little piggy rolled all the way home – aw! How cute is this tiny little pig? Poor little bubba was born without the use of his back legs and now uses a wheelchair to get around. He was adopted by a vet who just fell in love with him and he is now being spoilt rotten. Bless him!

What’s the story? Altogether now – awww! How sweet are these four little kittens? These poor balls of fur were rescued from a storm drain in Australia where the mother cat had decided to hide them out of harm’s way and ended up putting them in even more danger. It took seven rescuers to get all of the kittens out but, luckily, they didn’t get flushed away and are now looking for homes – we love a happy ending!

What’s the story? This beautiful rare white lion cub seemed to be having bundles of fun with his big red ball. The cheeky youngster and his siblings tackled the ball after it was placed in their enclosure by keepers at Liberec Zoo in Czech Republic.

What’s the story? A Tibetan Mastiff gave birth to a whopping 20 puppies in what is being labelled as a potential world record. The expensive breed of dog can sell for up to £1million – that’s a pricey pup!

What’s the story? This tiny baby Koala was found orphaned by the side of a road in Brisbane, Australia, he was skinny and dehydrated. Little Raymond, named after the man who found him, now spends his days sitting at Julie Zyzniewski’s desk, where she looks after him and feeds him from this tiny bottle every 3 hours. ‘He’s powering along’, said Julie.

What’s the story? This is the first time these cute tiger cubs have been shown to the public. At Aschersleben Zoo in Germany, these two female youngsters have definitely been getting lots of fuss. They were born on 1 September to Siberian tiger mother named Taiga.

What’s the story? Altogether now – awww! How cute does Britain’s Got Talent winner Pudsey the dog look? Filming his first television role as a female dog called Duchess, the canine is the star in the adaptation of David Walliams’ book Mr Stink.

What’s the story? Elephant brothers Felix and Dinkar celebrate their 2nd birthdays at Erlebnis Zoo in Hannover, Germany with frozen vegetable birthday cakes. The pair looked like they didn’t mind sharing the same cake and clearly preferred the one with pink icing!

What’s the story? Caddy the 8-month-old wombat pokes her head out of her little shack to say hello. The baby wombat has her own specially-made pouch at the Warrandyte Wildlife Shelter in Melbourne, Australia.

What’s the story? A baby fox was rescued from a huge fire in an abandoned building. The 2-year-old, nicknamed Smoky, was found in a heap of ashes and firefighters pulled the terrified cub free.

What’s the story? This tiny baby hare is lucky to be alive after a couple spotted a dead hare and noticed its stomach was moving. Knowing there was no time to waste, the couple used a penknife to carry out emergency surgery and after making an incision this tiny baby popped out.

someone’s hand. He was rescued from the clutches of a cat, but can’t
hibernate this winter because he’s underweight.

It looks so sad. Fortunately the zoo in China where it was born looked
after it until he grew hair and was accepted back into the family.
What’s the story? An orphan hippo called Douglas has been successfully released back into the wild. Douglas was just two weeks old and close to death when he was first rescued. His carers at the Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust (CWET) in Zambia are delighted that he has now begun the journey back into the wild in the nearby South Luangwa River – with a pod of wild hippo. We’re sure that this has something to do with the smile slapped across his face!
