The Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant in her first official outing since Prince Louis' birth

Duchess of Cambridge

The Duchess of Cambridge wowed onlookers as she made her first official appearance since giving birth at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's much-anticipated wedding.

The new mum looked radiant in a dress coat by Alexander McQueen – the designer she wore to her own wedding – as she joined the rest of the royal family to celebrate her brother-in-law’s big day.

Her cream outfit was complemented perfectly by her statement hat.

And if you think Kate’s outfit looks familiar, you’d be right. The Duchess has actually worn the McQueen item three times previously – to Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015, Trooping the Colour in 2016 and to an event marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele in Belgoium in July 2017.

Catherine made a sweet gesture when it came to her jewellery, wearing the same earrings that she wore to sister Pippa’s wedding – an elegant pair of Kiki McDonough earrings.

The Royal Wedding marks the first time that the Duchess has been seen out and about since the birth of Prince Louis on 23rd April.

She was last seen bidding farewell to the waiting crowd, as she loaded her new baby into the car with husband Prince William.

The couple then drove back to their home at Kensington Palace, where they have spent much of their time over the last month.

Catherine has however been spied on a few occasions since then. Eagle-eyed fans have caught a glimpse of the royal walking around the Kensington Palace gardens with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte recently.

And she also joined Harry and Meghan for their wedding rehearsal at Windsor Castle, on Thursday 17th May.

But this is the Duchess’ first official appearance since welcoming the now one-month old into the family. And we have to say, the mum-of-three is positively glowing!

The Duchess of Cambridge was left to walk solo into the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel, as husband Prince William was busy fulfilling his duties as best man for Prince Harry.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte also looked adorable, in their roles as page boy and bridesmaid respectively for the newly-married couple.

It’s sure to continue to be a busy day for Kate Middleton, as she takes care of her two children during the rest of the wedding festivities, while Prince William is sure to be caught up in best man responsibilities.
