‘He’s never played golf more!’ Izzy hints that husband Harry Judd dodges home chores

Harry Judd and wife Izzy, like most couples, are at loggerheads over just how helpful around the house the dad-of-two thinks he is.

While making an appearance on Lorraine, the 31-year-old seemed to think he’s very helpful, but Izzy disagrees.

The Strictly Come Dancing champion and his wife welcomed son Kit in August, a new little brother for their daughter Lola.

Speaking on Lorraine, Izzy revealed: ‘It’s just such an appropriate time because I’ve just had our second baby, who’s eight weeks old, and Harry has never left the house to play golf more in the eight weeks than he has in our entire relationship.’

‘That’s not true’ Harry interjected. But Izzy said: ‘He’s found the longest game and what he does is, he’ll say, “Izzy, is it okay?” So he puts it on me.’

Harry insisted that it was better to ask if he could go out for a round of golf, rather than telling her that he was going.

He was adamant that he thinks he’s helpful around the house and Izzy eventually agreed, saying she would never use the word “selfish” to describe her husband.

‘He is super helpful,’ she admitted, before he cheekily added: ‘But I can play golf on Sundays.’

The couple were on air to talk openly about their fertility struggles when they shared the awkward moment on the Lorraine sofa with presenter Christine Bleakley.

‘[Exercise] massively helped me,’ Harry explained. ‘It’s my version of meditation, it’s something you can control.

‘That’s what I found really helpful with anxiety, it’s something I can control. Get out of the house – releasing stress, releasing the endorphins.’

Izzy also spoke about how keeping fit helped her deal with her fertility struggle: ‘I would go out and do yoga or meditation. Looking at it from more of a holistic point of view really helped with my anxiety. Anxiety, for me, was the biggest battle when trying to conceive.’
