JB Gill and wife Chloe reveal they’re expecting their second child together

JLS singer JB Gill and his wife Chloe are preparing to hear the pitter patter of tiny feet for the second time.

The duo confirmed the happy news to Hello! magazine this weekend, before JB took to Instagram to pen some seriously sweet words.

‘Today has been a brilliant day, Easter Sunday is a day to celebrate new life, a day to remember the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ,’ JB’s caption on the social networking site began.

‘A day to share and give presents symbolising the start of spring and this year, for @chloesiobhangill and I to announce that we are expecting our SECOND little Gill 😂❤️👌🏾super excited isn’t the word, @acejgill is literally buzzing.’

The post clearly delighted many, with plenty of celebrities and fans leaving lovely message for JB, 31, and Chloe to read.

‘Awwww what lovely news! Congratulations,’ said inspirational speaker and author Katie Piper, who welcomed her second child just four months ago.

JB’s bandmate and fellow JLS star Aston Merrygold, who became a father for the first time in January, chipped in: ‘Family just got a whoooooooole lot bigger and more beautiful.’

During their chat with the magazine, the loved-up pair revealed that their little one is due in August.

While many couples choose to announce their pregnancy after going for a 12-week scan, JB and Chloe opened up about their decision to wait a while longer.

‘Because we know people who have had complications, we were cautious to say anything before now,’ the JLS star said.

‘In our line of work, you never have the job until you’re on that stage and I guess we’ve approached this the same way – we wanted to make sure we were firmly on that stage.’

Despite the fact JB and Chloe have so far opted out of learning the gender of their unborn tot, their three-year-old son Ace is convinced he’ll become a big brother to a little boy in the summer.

‘While we’ve currently got no plans to find out, I’m tempted to go with his intuition,’ joked JB.

JB and Chloe tied the knot in 2014 on a remote Scottish island.
