Kate Middleton expecting again, and we for one couldn't be happier. Check out this gallery dedicated to the royal baby bump, now and when Kate was pregnant with George...
Hurrah! Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting royal baby No.2, and we just can’t wait to see her blossoming throughout her second pregnancy. We were sad to hear that the Duchess has been suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum again, as she did when she was pregnant with Prince George, but pleased to hear she’s on the mend.
We’re so excited about seeing George with a little brother or sister, it’s sent us all broody in the goodtoknow office.
One thing’s for sure, we still can’t get enough of Kate’s royal bump. We loved seeing her bump growing at all her public appearances last time, and all the gorgeous maternity dresses and coats she sported throughout.
Video of the Week
Kate looked bright and beautiful in a hot pink coat as she stepped out on her last official engagement before maternity leave.
Kate and William were visiting the Stephen Lawrence Centre in South East London to meet members of the charitable trust.
Kate’s coat is a £1,500 Mulberry number, and it’s not the first time she’s worn it.
We first saw this outfit when she visited the World Trade Centre Memorial in New York last year.
Kate is now 8 months pregnant, and although she dresses to cover her compact bump, it looks like she’s ready to pop under all of those layers!
She recently revealed that she’s due ‘mid-to-late April’, so the countdown is on to the new arrival!
Kate was pictured looking pretty in polka dots on a visit to Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich.
Believe it or not, her dress costs just £35 from none other than good old ASOS. Unfortunately for the pregnant ladies amongst us, it’s already sold out, but we have found a couple selling on eBay for more than double the price!
Kate’s visit was to experience the work of Home-Start, a charity which supports families affected by mental health, bereavement, poor housing or financial stress.
She even spilled the beans on her due date, telling a volunteer at the centre she was expecting her baby ‘mid-to-end of April.’
Kate’s bump might look small in this outfit, but at 37 weeks pregnant, we bet she’s just about ready to put her feet up now.
Not long to go!
Aw, Kate looked thrilled to be meeting the 1st Battalion Irish Guards
(as she does every year with husband William) on St. Patrick’s Day.
Expectant Kate is now 37 weeks, that’s – as if you need reminding – just three weeks until her due date!
Kate and Wills have attended the ceremony for the last three years, with Kate infamously getting the heel of her shoe caught in a grate last year!
The Duchess greeted the 1st Battalion Irish Guards in Hampshire and presented them with Shamrocks to mark the day.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked blooming at a memorial service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
She and William took part in the tributes to the 453 men and women who lost their lives during combat operations in Afghanistan.
Kate dressed appropriately for the occasion in a smart blue coat and fascinator, whilst William wore his ceremonial uniform.
The Queen, Prince Harry, who completed two tours of duty during the conflict, and many other members of the Royal Family were also in attendance.
Kate is now 7 months pregnant, and it is thought that this will be one of her last official engagements before the birth of the couple’s second child in April.
Kate and William were pictured sharing a smile as they left the service together.
Hi Kate! For the second time in as many days, the Duchess was out visiting the British public. This trip was to Epping studios in Essex, to visit the set of Downton Abbey, no less.
Kate, who’s said to be a big fan of the period drama, met the writer of the hit show, Julian Fellowes, while being treated to a tour of the studios.
Kate’s visit also included meeting cast members who play characters Mrs. Hughes, Thomas, Mrs. Patmore and Daisy, as well as getting to see a scene being filmed in one of the servant’s bedrooms for series six.
Unfortunately our fave, Maggie Smith, who plays Violet Crawley in the show, was unwell and unable to make it for Kate’s visit. What a pairing that would have been!
Kate’s now 36 weeks pregnant and expected to give birth next month. She was absolutely glowing as she accepted flowers from well-wishers outside the studios.
The sun was shining on Kate’s trip to Margate in Kent. The area was recently voted the UK’s greatest seaside town, and it seems the town now has the Duchess’ vote of approval.
Pregnant Kate was looking bumpier than ever in her monochrome outfit as she greeted staff by the sea.
Kate was in town to visit the Turner Contemporary gallery as part of her work with the National Portrait Gallery, for which she is patron.
Well, she does have a degree in History of Art, don’t you know?
Wowsers, there’s a bump for you! Kate and Wills attended a service at Westminster Abbey (where they tied the knot four years ago) for the annual Commonwealth Day Observance.
The Duchess is now 35 weeks, just over a month to go until her due date, and so this is to be one of her final engagements before she welcomes royal baby number two.
Babies spend 60% of the last three months of pregnancy in REM sleep, that’s dreaming! We wonder what dreams Kate’s little one might be having…
Kate and Wills were both dressed for the occasion, with Kate wearing this gorgeous baby pink (a hint, perhaps?) coat with matching court shoes and champagne-coloured fascinator. Just another day at the office. Sigh.
By the way, we’ve seen that coat before! Recognise it? Kate last wore it to the Trooping The Colour ceremony to mark the Queen’s birthday last year, just a week before she gave birth to Prince George. See the pic, here.
Kate’s nearing the final stages of pregnancy. Over the next month, she’ll be getting the finishing touches in place for baby’s arrival.
She’ll want to make sure her hospital bag’s packed and ready to go, go, go!
Kate Middleton saw in the beginning of spring in this pretty floral dress which highlighted her growing baby bump.
The Duchess was paying a personal visit to The Goring Hotel in London, where she stayed the night before her wedding in 2011, to celebrate the hotel’s 105th birthday.
It’s only six weeks to go until she welcomes royal baby no.2, but as with her last pregnancy, Kate has such a neat bump. The facts are, all baby bumps vary in size, and the size of the bump is no idictation of your baby’s weight.
Kate’s bump was out in full bloom on her visit to Emma Bridgewater’s pottery factory in Stoke-on-Trent.
The 33 year old was pictured cradling her bump and laughing as she was shown around.
The Duchess, who is now 32 weeks pregnant, took the opportunity to take part in a spot of pottery decorating while on her visit.
The Duchess’s unborn baby is now the size of a coconut!
You can find out how big your unborn baby is – related to fruit and veg, obviously – here!
Kate looked her usual gorgeous self in this peacock blue outfit, which complimented her huge sapphire engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.
Kate looked to be in good spirits as she was shown around the factory in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
Kate happily greeted the staff at the pottery factory. Emma Bridgewater commissioned a commemorative mug for Prince George shortly after his birth, which read: ‘Hooray for George.’
Our Chinese birth predictor reckons Kate’s having another boy – and it’s known to be spookily accurate. What do you think she’s having?
Wowsers, would you look at that bump?
Kate admired the views from the new headquarters of Ben Ainslie Racing, wearing a black and white boat-print dress by Alice Temperley which showed off her growing tummy to perfection.
Earlier in the day, Kate was wrapped up warm in this knee-length cream coat.
She looked glorious as always as she greeted the crowds.
Kate wore her hair in her trademark loose curls and placed her hand protectively over her tummy.
The Duchess is now 31 weeks pregnant.
Kate was in Portsmouth visiting the home of Ben Ainslie Racing and the 1851 Trust, which aims to inspire a new generation of sailing and maritime industry.
Her baby now measures 40cm and is roughly the same size as a cabbage.
Kate participated in a spot of art on her trip. She helped with painting a maritime-themed mural on a fence at the Trust.
It’d be embarrassing if it was rubbish, wouldn’t it?
The Duchess has two months to go until the birth of her second baby, and big brother or sister to Prince George.
Blimey! Where did that come from?
Kate Middleton is so slight that from some angles you can barely tell she’s pregnant, and from others she looks like a glowing mum-to-be.
The Duchess was out on a crisp winter morning on 19 January, to formally open Kensington Aldridge Academy, a brand new school in London.
Kate greeted members of the school’s staff in this gorgeous pastel blue coat.
If there’s one thing we’ve been jealous of during both her pregnancies it’s been Kate’s amazing range of maternity coats.
The Duchess is now approaching 28 weeks pregnant, her baby weighs 2lbs and is growing fast! In fact, he/she is now the size of an aubergine.
Around this time lots of expectant mothers experience swollen and uncomfortable legs and ankles – although Kate’s legs are still looking as slim and sculptured as ever – ugh! See our tried and tested treats that can help with swollen legs.
Kate looked gorgeous in her pale blue outfit, with her hair in her signature loose curls.
Did you know? Prince George received over 800 gifts during his trips abroad last year, including a giant stuffed wombat from Australia’s Governor General and a surfboard from the Mayor of Manly, also in Australia.
Out for the second time in as many days, the Duchess was visiting The Fostering Network in Highbury, London today in this high street dress by Hobbs – currently in the sale for just £50 (don’t say we’re aren’t good to you!).
Kate was there to meet staff at the charity, and thank them for their care of vulnerable children.
The 33-year-old is now 27 weeks pregnant,
meaning there’s lots going on in the life of the next royal baby. This
is a time of rapid brain development; baby sleeps and wakes at regular
intervals and even sucks his/her thumb.
Kate smiled as she accepted flowers from the crowds and chatted animatedly to children who’d turned out to see her.
Just the day before, Kate opened a new art room at a primary school alongside renowned artist Grayson Perry.
We wonder whether she’s thought about birthing options yet?
Ah the royal bump! We hadn’t caught a glimpse of it since Christmas Day, and boy has it grown in that time?
Kate was out on royal duty to officially name The Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School in London along with Turner prize-winning Grayson Perry.
With her bump getting bigger by the day, these generous school kids thought it would be a good idea to make a chair for it! Okay, okay, it was for George really…
The Duchess was glowing during her first official visit of the New Year, wearing this 60’s style shift dress over her bump.
The Duchess wore her hair in her usual loose, flowing curls (did you know your hair gets thicker during pregnancy? Damn that perfect head of hair!).
At 36cm long, Kate’s baby is now roughly the size of a cauliflower!
We can’t wait for the little one’s arrival in April. Our spookily accurate Chinese birth predictor reckons Kate’s having a boy, what do you think?
It’s not just the Queen who has to work on Christmas Day you know, the whole royal family, including Kate and Wills, headed for their traditional Christmas church service at Sandringham in Norfolk.
Kate looked pretty as a picture in this long brown coat which showed off her little bump. At 23 weeks pregnant, she’s in the middle months of pregnancy – a time when women are feeling their most energetic.
Kate and Wills grinned and waved at the crowds who’d come out to get a glimpse at them on the big day, and holding hands too – sweet!
Kate’s been a bumpy bee lately (sorry…) and her schedule during the festive period has been absolutely jam-packed!
Her latest trip has been to the pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace, which is hosted by the Queen every year with the rest of the royal family – including little Prince George who’s sitting in the back of the car with his nanny, Maria.
Kate was obviously feeling in the festive spirit as she donned this bright red dress and waved to crowds on her way through Buckingham Palace gates.
The Duchess is midway through the second trimester of her second pregnancy.
Wills drove little George to see his great grandma at her home in London, along with his nanny who came along for the lunch. Perks of the job eh?
Kate accessorised her outfit with these pretty Christmas tree-shaped earrings especially for the lunch. We bet she can’t wait to get some time to put her feet up over the Christmas break!
At 22 weeks, her baby’s now the size of a papaya – that’s about 27 centimetres!
Kate smiled to the crowds that were waiting to wave to the couple outside of Buckingham Palace.
Other attendees included George’s uncle, Prince Harry, his grandad, Prince Charles, and plenty of cousins, second cousins, and all the other members of the royal family.
Now. You might be wondering why on earth Kate Middleton is on official business wearing a hoody. Well, the Duchess was representing the Beaver Scouts in some rather casual wear.
At 22 weeks pregnant, we think it’s only fair that Kate gets a night off from the ususal tight dresses and sky scraper heels, right?
We think we rather like seeing the royals dress down for once.
At just over halfway through her pregnancy, Kate may be starting to experience ‘baby brain’, where pregnant women find they’re inexplicably becoming forgetful and absent minded!
Kate took part in a blindfolded cupcake-icing challenge with some of the Beaver scouts. We’re not sure whether this little chap on the left is being a help or a hindrance – cheeky!
Kate looked like she was thoroughly enjoying her trip to the primary school in Bow, East London.
The visit was in aid of the Scout Association?s ‘Better Prepared’ campaign, which aims to help bring Scouting to 200 of the most deprived parts of the country.
Kate really threw herself into the spirit of the games on her visit, and looked like she was having a great time.
On the second day of their New York tour, Wills left Kate and bump to it as they visited the Northside Center for Child Development. Kate kept her bump under wraps in a loose-fitting black coat and held her hands in the classic ‘hide the bump’ position. Let us have a look, Kate!
Kate again showed her natural ability with children at the centre – do you think that young chap asked her a cheeky question? Maybe he wants to know if Kate’s having a boy or a girl? We know we do!
Kids at the centre were very excited to meet Kate but maybe not for the right reason:
Showing a hint of her baby bump with a cheeky side shot, Kate’s dark ensemble hid her growing shape.
A quick change for a night at the basketball with William, Kate kept her clutch bag firmly over her little bump.
Look at Kate’s face! As William politely declines the offer of food, pregnant Kate’s eyes light up. Craving something sweet, Kate?
The second royal baby isn’t even born yet and it’s already rubbing shoulders with the A-listers!
Well hello there Duke and Duchess!
The royal pair (and their baby bump) have touched down in NYC.
Kate and Wills arrived in the chilly city on 7 December, ahead of a three-day tour.
Looking radiant in this plum Seraphine coat, good ol’ Kate was flying the flag for British maternity wear across the pond.
The Duchess is now 20 weeks through her pregnancy – that’s halfway there, eek!
The couple cuddled up for the cameras in quite a rare display of affection as they arrived at the Carlyle Hotel – which, may we add, costs up to $14,000 a night!
It was in this exact hotel where Princess Diana stayed on her visit to the American city in 1997, just two months before her tragic car accident.
Kate and Wills were later pictured leaving a swanky apartment building after attending a private dinner at the home of British media and marketing mogul, Sir Martin Sorrell.
Kate wore this beautiful black lace dress to the dinner, which showed off her growing baby bump.
We wonder whether Kate and Wills have started thinking about baby names yet?
At 20 weeks, Kate will be having – if she hasn’t already – her 20-week scan.
The Duchess waved at crowds as she left her dinner party at 10:30pm, where people had flocked to get a glimpse of the royal couple as they left the apartment.
The royal twosome are attending several charity-focused events around the city in the next few days. Their final engagement will be on Tuesday evening before they fly home to little George, who’s back in UK, no doubt waiting for them to come home!
Kate was the lady in red for the EACH Hospices Appeal Launch in Norfolk, for which she is patron.
The Duchess, whose bump was covered in this flattering shift dress, is now about 18 weeks pregnant.
Have you heard about the touching sentiment Kate left with a bereaved mum at this event? Read about it here.
The Duchess was animated and chatty to charity staff and to the crowds which had lined up to see her.
At 18 weeks pregnant, her baby is now about the size of a pepper – a red one, by the looks of things!
Believe it or not, this week Kate’s baby is starting to use his/her larynx to produce sound vibrations.
Kate met and listened to families who’d experienced the help of children’s hospices and was given a bunch of flowers by little Aimee Benton here, aged seven.
The Duchess also met designer pottery maker, Emma Bridgewater, to see her new range of fundraising crockery to help raise £10million to build a new children’s hospice in Norfolk.
The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was glowing as she welcomed guests to a charity event at her London home, Kensington Palace.
Kate is around 17 weeks pregnant and her baby is 13cm long – about the size of a large onion. At about this time women may notice a thin dark line appearing from their belly button to their pubic bone, which is part of the hyperpigmentation caused by pregnancy hormones.
We wonder if Kate is among the two thirds of mums-to-be who experience this?
Kate’s been a busy bee lately. From visiting local businesses to charity dinners and showcasing plenty of lovely outfits, she’s had lots to do.
Here she is alongside Prince William attending the Royal Variety Performance on behalf of the Queen.
The couple were dressed immaculately in black tie for the event, which is in its 84th year.
They watched acts such as Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and One Direction perform, as well as comedy sets from Michael McIntyre and Sarah Millican.
This is the first time the Duke and Duchess have attended the Royal Variety Performance. The Queen is usually present at the event, but occasionally sends other members of the royal family, often Prince Charles, to represent her.
All the proceeds go to the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund, of which the Queen is patron.
Kate looked absolutely gorgeous in her floor-length black lace evening gown, and we just had to show you a pic of her elegant up-do. It’s not often that Kate ties her hair back, but we have to say we love it when she does.
Kate’s little bump is finally looking, well, bumpy!
Even Harry Styles commented on the Duchess’s pregnancy, telling her when she met him inside the venue: ‘Congratulations on the bump!’
Kate visited SportsAid to meet young athletes who are hoping to take part in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where she was able to take part in a cognitive test, but was dissapointed that she wasn’t able to have a go at the more physical tests.
She was quoted as saying: ‘Finally, something I can do while I’m pregnant!’
The Duchess is a patron for the youth charity, which supports young athletes aspiring to be the next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions.
Kate wore her hair loose and looked to be having a great time during the visit. The Duchess watched as the sports enthusiasts took part in workshops.
We spy a royal baby bump! Kate wore this plum-coloured, belted dress by UK designer Goat, which gave us a little glimpse of her famous tum.
Kate was out and about twice over the weekend of the 8/9 November. Here she is watching the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London with the rest of the royal family.
The pregnant Duchess and her mother-in-law Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall looked on respectfully as Prince William and the Queen laid wreaths of poppies at the foot of the Cenotaph.
Kate and Camilla paused for a little natter on the balcony.
In week 16 of pregnancy, women can feel some of the energy which they lost in their first trimester return. Changes in blood flow and metabolism can mean women experience hot flushes, and an increased libido – not that we’re speculating or anything…
Kate wore a poppy to symbolise Britain’s war dead, which stood out against her fitted black coat and hat.
Psst! Did you see official due date announcement?
Out in this beautiful powder blue coat, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting the Valero Pembroke Refinery to mark its 50th anniversary.

The Duke and Duchess arrived to bracing winds and rain in Pembrokeshire, where crowds of people lined the streets to see the royal couple.
Onlookers were able to get a glimpse of the Duchess’s little bump through her knee-length coat.
Isn’t Kate glowing? She looks to have made a great recovery from the severe morning sickness which kept her out of the public eye for two months earlier this year.
This week, the Duchess’s baby is starting to develop hearing and will be able to hear mum’s voice and other sounds from outside the womb.
Prince William and Kate posed for pictures with some of the apprentices employed by the refinery.
The couple later went on to watch the Wales versus Australia rugby match at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
Kate looked her usual gorgeous self on the visit. Her baby is due in April, and we can’t wait!
Kate was out at her third event in as many days in October and looked absolutely glowing in this little black number.
Here, Kate is nearing the end of her first trimester, around the time expectant mothers find their morning sickness wears off. We think Kate looks as though she’s making an amazing recovery after suffering from the extreme form of the condition, hyperemesis gravidarum.
Whoops, the photographer’s flashbulbs shone through the sheer material of Kate’s dress!
Yay, there’s a bump under there!
Kate chose this black crochet dress, made by British designer, Alice Temperley, to wear to the event.

Watch closely or you’ll miss it! Kate’s bump may have been tiny but you could just about see it in her MaxMara Studio wrap dress.
Kate proudly showed off her bump on her first public appearence in March. The Duchess was visiting Grimsby in Yorkshire, and whilst her bump was still small, it’s definitely grown a lot since she was last pictured on the the 19th February.
Kate wore the same green tailored coat she wore to the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in 2012, except this year she was hiding her little bump under there!
Looking lovely in a cream coat, Kate waved to the crowds on a visit to the offices of Child Bereavement UK. It seems her bump was fast becoming a handy shelf for all her clutch bags!
In honour of London Underground’s 150th anniversary, Kate visited Baker Street Underground station and was presented with a ‘baby on board’ badge, to make sure she got a seat on the tube!
Kate and William took a 2 day tour of Scotland to launch a new sports programme. We were impressed by Kate’s array of bump-hiding coats! Whilst it was still only quite small, you can just about see the Duchess’ small bump under her tartan coat.
Kate also revealed her due date during the tour! Read the full news story here.
Kate and Wills braved the freezing cold in Scotland once again, as they celebrated the launch of an outdoor centre at Dumfries House in Ayrshire. Kate had been pretty good at hiding her bump until now, but is it just us, or is was this lovely red coat starting to look a little tight around the tummy?
Wow, where did that come from?! Kate, who was 6 months pregnant, looked like she’d had a little bump growth spurt since we had last seen her on the 5th April.
The Duchess looked lovely in spring colours and the sun even made an appearance as she attended the National Review of Queen’s Scouts at Windsor Castle.
