Katie Price announces she’s postponing the rest of her tour due to ‘recent threats’ to son Harvey

Katie Price has announced she’s postponing the rest of her tour due to ‘recent threats’ to her son Harvey.

The mum took to social media to share the sad news with fans who had bought tickets to see her show – An Audience with Katie Price – in Kent.

Posting the announcement on the Leas Cliff Hall Facebook page, where she was due to perform next, she wrote: ‘Due to recent threats and events with my personal circumstances I have made the decision to postpone my remaining tour dates until the new year.

‘I hope that ticket holders can make the new dates and can’t wait to see you all next year. KPxxx’

All dates for Katie’s live show, which is described as a ‘special evening’ where she’ll talk about her life stories and perform her new single, have been rescheduled to next year, between March and May.

Reports suggest that the reason behind Katie’s decision is the fact that she’s received threats against her son Harvey.

According to The Sun, 15-year-old Harvey was targeted in a £50,000 blackmail plot, after the mum got an anonymous email to warn her that his face would be ‘smashed in’ unless she paid the blackmailers in cash.

Last October, the mum also cancelled a show in Manchester due to the same reason, and told The Sun Online: ‘I’m terrified. This is clearly a blackmail threat, and I need to be at home with my family.’

It’s been a tough year for Katie, who only a few months ago revealed she suffered a miscarriage and found out husband Kieran had cheated on her again.

The mum-of-five confirmed she’s split from her third husband in August, and a few days later revealed more sad news when she said her mum was suffering from terminal lung condition.

Taking to social media, the former glamour model wrote about her mum Amy’s illness: ‘The condition has an average life expectancy of 3-5 years. There are two known pills which if they work can slow things down.’
