Luisa Zissman reveals worries about having postnatal depression for the second time

The TV star suffered badly after her first daughter's birth...

Reality TV star Luisa Zissman has spoken about her battle with postnatal depression in a recent interview, saying she's hoping she won't experience it following her current pregnancy.

The expectant mum-of-one revealed that following the birth of her first daughter, who is now six, she struggled with the crippling condition. She has previously spoken about the problems she had bonding with her little girl Dixie following her birth in 2010, and has admitted that she struggled to adjust to life as a single mum at 23 which contributed to her having postnatal depression.

Luisa had split from Dixie's father, Oliver, before the little girl was born so had to bring up her daughter alone. However, remaining optimistic, Luissa told Closer magazine that she hopes this pregnancy will be different, and that she won't suffer with postnatal depression again.

'Postnatal depression is still a worry. I read somewhere that just because you've suffered with it once, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll have it twice so I'm hoping I don't go through it again' she said.

If her recent comments are anything to go by then the TV personality is coping well - Luisa says she's 'thrilled to be pregnant' and in the same interview she opened up about how 'easy' this pregnancy had been.

Luisa admitted, 'It's been a really easy pregnancy so far, I've been so lucky. I haven't had any sickness or weird cravings, but I'm getting a bit restless and just want to give birth now!'

This baby will be her first child with her millionaire husband Andrew Collins, who she married in a low-key secret ceremony in The South of France after Andrew popped the question in Paris with a £1.5 million pound ring!

And it sounds like Luisa is delighted that she's having a little girl. Speaking to Hello magazine she said, 'My dream is to have four daughters who are all really into horse riding, like me. I'm not sure I'd know what to do with a boy!'
