A mum has sparked a huge debate after placing a 'no touching' sign on her child’s car seat in a post that has quickly gone viral.
The mum admitted she was tired of strangers passing their 'germs' onto her child and touching her without permission.
Sharing the photo on the Breastfeeding Mama Talk Facebook page, the sign on the car seat read: 'No touching, your germs are too big for me'.
The caption read: 'Don't touch other people or their children. It's creepy. Don't be creepy.'
But while some parents agreed with the sign, which has had over 1,000 comments, others argued that the mum was being too overprotective and that children 'need germs'.
One said: 'I mean I don't really think there is two sides to this though. The general rule UNSPOKEN or not should be not to touch a baby or PERSON that is not yours unless you have permission.

'I don't think it's ever okay to touch someone else's baby. You not minding people touching your baby would still fall under you giving permission... I'm not seeing two sides to this one sorry.'
Another said: 'I don't care how many germs are healthy for kids to be exposed to..can you guarantee that weirdo as t the park washed their hands after picking their dogs poop up? No. You cannot. Strangers shouldn't be touching kids and passing their funk along.'
A third added: ‘We have a big family and couldn't keep all the germy kids away. Both kids are happy and healthy now after being exposed to countless germs. I welcome boosting the immune system!'
A fourth said: 'Children need germs, their bodies need to learn to fight off sickness.'
But some parents argued that it’s not just about germs, it’s also about not wanting strangers in your personal space.
One parent said: 'I'm not afraid of the germs, I just don't like creepy strangers trying to touch my babies! Keep your hands to yourself, people!'
