Are these the gifts Princess Charlotte will be receiving for her first Christmas?

Sounds like Prince Harry definitely has a favourite niece...

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already said that top of their Christmas list is 'sleep on Christmas Eve' but it seems Princess Charlotte and Prince George should be expecting a stocking full of lavish gifts from Father Christmas!

More details about the intimate family plans for Princess Charlotte's first festive period have been revealed, and they are adorable!

We already know that the family-of-four have opted to stay at their Amner Hall home in Norfolk, rather than have Christmas Day lunch at Sandringham House, as is commonly done.

In the traditional way, both Charlotte and George will have stockings hung at the end of their beds, presumably filled with more than just a lump of coal.

A source told E! News: 'The family can't wait to make a fuss of Princess Charlotte, and of course, Prince George.'

Charlotte in particular can expect to receive lots of presents from her uncles.

Prince Harry, who admitted his soft spot for Charlotte after his speech on conserving African wildlife earlier this month, will be doting on the little princess on the big day.

Pictures of Princess Charlotte released earlier this month show that the excitement may have got to her already!

The source confirmed; 'Both James [Middleton] and Harry dote on her, so when it comes to gifts from the uncles they are going to be a little spoiled.'

It is reported that the Middleton family will be staying with the Duke and Duchess at Amner Hall over the festive period - and whilst the uncles may be going big on gesture, it seems auntie Pippa Middleton will be making a more personal gift.

'Pippa is big on personalized mementos, so she may have had something engraved for Charlotte or a cute little Christmas outfit with her name on it.'

Even George is getting into the craft spirit, explaining that; 'George's gift for his baby sister will be lovingly homemade... he is already very protective and proud of her, which is just adorable.'

There's only one question left – who will be carving the turkey?
