Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has welcomed her first child with fiancé Jason Statham.

The actress took to Instagram to confirm the birth of the couple's son, whom they have chosen to name Jack Oscar.

'Our little man arrived! Jack Oscar Statham 8.8lbs on Saturday June 24th. 👼🏼❤️' she wrote alongside the black and white snap of her son's hand holding her own.

Fans have been quick to congratulate the pair on their new arrival, with one writing: 'Congratulations to the both of you!! How exciting! 😍💙boys are the best!'

'Congratulations, wishing you all the world luck and many joyful years and memories,' another delighted fan agreed.

The Hollywood couple first announced their lovely pregnancy news back in February, by posting a glamorous shot of the glowing Victoria Secret model posing on an idyllic beach in a bikini, with a sizeable bump.

'Very happy to share that Jason and I are expecting!! Lots of love Rosie x ❤👼🏼 Photo by @jasonstatham' she told fans at the time.

The confirmation came after months of speculation, with Rosie cryptically captioning an Instagram post from earlier in the year, 'Here's to fresh starts and exciting prospects for the new year. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2017.'

The pair have been together since 2010, when they first went public at California's Coachella festival, and Jason popped the question in January 2016.

Actor Jason has won fans the world over for his gruff-voiced 'hard man' characters in films including The Bank Job, The Mechanic and The Transporter.

Rosie, who was born in Plymouth, grew up on a farm surrounded by animals and began modelling when she was 16, building a successful commerical and editorial career ever since. They currently live together in an £8.5million pound home in Beverly Hills.

In a rare interview about her love life for Harper's Bazaar Australia in 2016, Rosie said: 'I have an amazing relationship with my partner. He's by far the greatest influence in my life.'

Congratulations, Rosie and Jason!
