Stacey Solomon axed from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here spin-off Extra Camp

She presented the show for just one series

Stacey Solomon will not be returning to her presenting role on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here spin-off Extra Camp.

The news was verified by a representative for the former X Factor star, who told Metro that they were 'able to confirm that Stacey will not be returning' to the show.

The 27-year-old, who also appears regularly as a panellist on Loose Women, hosted the ITV2 spin-off for just one season, alongside her boyfriend Joe Swash, comedian Chris Ramsey, and former Geordie Shore cast member Vicky Pattison, who is also being let go from the line-up.

It's been reported that producers are considering a revamp to the format of Extra Camp, but ITV have not yet revealed whether the other three members of the group will be reprising their roles.

Stacey's association with I'm a Celeb... began when she appeared as a contestant in 2010, eventually going on to win her series and be crowned 'Queen of the Jungle'.

When it was announced that she'd be returning to Australia as a host, Stacey released a statement sharing her excitement at the appointment, describing the role as 'job goals'.

'I'm so thrilled and excited to be a part of the ITV2 team in the jungle,' she said at the time.

'I'm going back to Australia and I get to do the job of my dreams, alongside three of the nicest, funniest people around, including my man. Absolute job goals!'

Rumours have already begun circulating about potential candidates for both Stacey and Vicky's replacements, with Gogglebox favourite and fellow I'm a Celeb winner Scarlett Moffatt tipped to be a front runner.

Addressing the possibility that Scarlett could be offered the job, Stacey told new! magazine: 'Scarlett was brilliant in the jungle, she will be brilliant on I'm A Celeb's after show. It really is the best thing to work on.'
