Cracking good fun! Make an Easter egg tree

This cute Easter craft is a great way for kids to enjoy Easter without even a smidgeon of chocolate.

Our Gemma Chandler shows you how to make it – FYI, it’s as easy as pie.

You will need

– Brown card

– Washi tape

– Egg template (draw a simple egg shape on card and cut out as a template)

– Pencil

– Scissors

– Hole punch

– String

– Self-adhesive clear hooks

Step 1

Stick strips of different coloured tape to some brown card in various patterns – horizontally, vertically, diagonally, criss-crossed or triangles.

Step 2

Draw around the egg template onto the taped card and cut out. Make a hole at the top and thread with string. Repeat to make more decorated eggs.

Step 3

Tear and stick a tape ‘tree trunk’ to the wall. Tear and stick ‘branches’ to the trunk using the same tape.

Step 4

Apply the self-adheisive strips to the clear hooks and stick to the tree. Write a greeting onto the back of the egg tags and hang on to each hook.
