Tips for frying fish
If you sprinkle a tiny amount of curry powder into the bottom of the frying pan when frying fish it will stop it smelling so much. My sons also like the colour and flavour it gives.

tip: peel 3 or 4 large potatoes, scoop out balls of raw potato from each one. Rinse and dry. heat oil in frying pan and add 2 teaspoons bovril or marmite to oil and blend in together. Place balled potatoes in oil and stir around until crispy. These can be eaten instead of chips or used to add to salads. .The large 'left-over' potato shells can be fried in large chip pan(kids love these!) or used as mash for another meal, so that nothing is wasted.
