Red wine ice crush

Red wine ice crush

If you find cheap red wines to be a bit dull, jazz them up with this simple, cheap recipe. Then sit back and enjoy

Serves: 4-5
Calories per serving: 73
Fat per serving: 0g

8 tbsp freshly-squeezed orange juice
3 tbsp clear honey
300ml (1/2 pint) of red wine

1. Add the freshly-squeezed orange juice to the honey and warm a little, in a jug in the microwave or in a small pan, until the honey dissolves.
2. Whisk into the red wine. Pour into a plastic container and freeze for a few hours.
3. To serve, scoop the crush into small, chilled glasses; it should be large, icy crystals. Serve immediately.
Use within 2 months of freezing.
