Avoiding food poisoning
It's estimated that there are 860,000 cases of food poisoning every year. Avoid the risk of getting food poisoning from your leftovers by:
- Refrigerating leftovers within two hours of cooking.
- Don't forget about your leftovers - make sure you eat them within 4 days.
- And remember, you can reheat leftovers, but only do it once. Anything that's still not eaten after that has to go in the bin.
