Witches hats with chocolate milkshake

Witches hats with chocolate milkshake
Average rating: 3 out of 5 star rating

Give kids a sweet treat after school or for a fun party dessert with these easy meringues and chocolate milkshake.

2 egg whites
100g (4oz) light muscovado sugar
1 carton of soya alternative to chocolate milk

1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (fan 130°C, gas mark 1). Whisk the egg whites in a clean grease free bowl until they are stiffly peaking. (You can check they are ready by turning upside down - if they begin to slide around, keep on whisking).
2. Gradually whisk in the sugar 1tbsp at a time. Line 2 baking sheets with baking parchment. Spoon or pipe witches hat shapes onto the lined baking sheets.
3. Bake for 50 mins until golden brown. Remove from the oven - they will firm up within 15 mins. Cool and serve with chocolate milkshake.
